Halifax Public Garden

This post happens to be on one of my very favorite parts of living in Halifax. The Halifax Public Gardens.

I’ve seen my fair share of gardens and parks around the world, and considering the size of Halifax compared to say, NYC or Paris, we do a pretty good job I think!

This series doesn’t require much explanation other than the Public Gardens takes up an entire block in our city. It is right smack in the middle of the busiest street east of Montreal, Spring Garden Road. Enjoy this eye candy, you’ll quickly see why I love taking my lunch breaks here!

This is looking up a HUGE, OLD willow tree- most of our wedding pictures we’re taken in front of this tree (because it was SO hot and sunny we needed shade!)Duck Pond:

The Gazeebo- where you can sit and watch outdoor concerts in the summer. Sadly, I’ve never been to one…

Beautiful, huge poppies, remind me of Europe.

HUGE rhododendron(s) everywhere. This is just one:I think that is probably sufficient eye candy!

What is your favorite outdoor space in your city/town?
